Today I am grateful for Christmas day! Barry and I love Christmas day.  Instead of getting each other presents we make cards for one another. He always writes me an adorable poem, this year’s was from the POV of our cats! LOL!   Today is also a BIG HUGE day of RELAXING!!!! Yesterday and today I’ve been grateful for my mom’s amazing “advent calendar!” Ever since I was little I’ve gotten an advent calendar every Christmas and this year’s calendar was awesome!  The best part is that the calendar is actually a box full of fun little gifts that my mom placed in bags she made by hand.  She is so amazing!!!!! I am grateful for my grandmother.  She is an incredible woman.  Even though she is now living with Alzheimer’s, the core of who she is is still very much the same.  She is strong and vibrant and I love her with all of my heart. Days 131 - 135, December 16th - 20th
The last five days I have been thankful for family. Last night I  arrived at my parent’s house for a quick visit and my 2 half sisters and one of my half brothers were there!  (half of my rad family watching youtube videos) (my awesome dad!) Today I am grateful for the freaking badass green juice that I make in my Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Pro. Pretty much every day I take a juice with me “to go” to start my morning.  I juice up cucumber, celery, green apples, kale, lemon, orange, and ginger. Woohoo!!!! Thanks “mean green” juice!! xo hels
