Helenna's Year of Gratitude

Today I am grateful for the power and freedom of original series made for the web.

When I’m not working as an actor or producing my own web content, I have the great privilege of working with Brian Rodda at Brian Rodda Consulting.  He currently has a number of amazing clients and one of them, Husbands The Series, had a fantastic Q+A tonight at Meltdown Comics on Sunset in Hollywood. 

Jane Espenson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Battelstar Galactica, and Game of Thrones..just to name a few) has teamed up with internet sensation Cheeks to produce Husbands The Series and it is PHENOMENAL.  Starring along side Cheeks is Sean Hemeon (True Blood, As the World Turns) and Alessandra Torresani (Caprica) with Jeff Greenstein (Friends, Will and Grace, Desperate Housewives) directing. 

I’ve talked before about my love for the web series world and content made specifically for release online, and tonight only helped solidify it’s importance to me.

Husbands is a series that makes me ridiculously excited to be involved in the web space.  It is breaking new ground and doing it with a huge amount of heart and gusto.  This is a show that you absolutely must watch if for no other reason then to see how excellent a web series can be.
