It’s been quite awhile since I last posted and all I can say is that when I started this blog I really needed to keep myself in the most positive frame of mind possible. Writing what I was grateful for each day got me into an amazing habit that completely transformed my day to day thinking.

So, today and all days, I am grateful for love, joy, positivity, and gratitude itself.

Wow, it’s been awhile since I posted here. So much to be grateful for I don’t even know where to start. I feel like a million things have happened in these last 49 days. Most of all though, I am just grateful that I am healthy and alive and living my dreams. I love that every day I am working towards my goals and persevering though the rough patches. My husband Barry is such an incredible blessing in my life and I feel like I have the best partner I could have ever asked for. It seems like my days are now absolutely filled with gratitude. There have been so many amazing things that have come into my life lately and it’s incredible that this blog was able to help shift my thinking and open me up to seeing all of the incredible little things that fill up my life every day. Yup, this has apparently turned into my weekly thanks instead of daily, but I’m not going to beat myself up about it. Instead I’m just going to be grateful that I have this blog to come back to. I love reading all of my old posts. They give me the warm fuzzies.

Today I am grateful for SAG screeners! I love awards season and I can’t wait to watch all of these flicks. Some I’ve seen and some I haven’t…so exciting!!! And the best part? Every day there are new screeners arriving. AWESOME!

Holy nuts I’m behind on this gratitude blog, but nonetheless….today I am grateful for the amazing vacation my husband and I are currently having in Hawaii.

I absolutely LOVE Oahu and I am so glad that we are chillaxin’ with our first real vacation in 5 1/2 years! WOOHOO!!!!

Today I am grateful for Talk Nerdy To Me Lover.

I really love writing and I am so happy that Jen invited me on board awhile ago to be the resident “artsy fartsy nerdy blogger” every Friday. I love talking about artsy fartsy stuff and I am a total nerd, so I am in heaven!

Thank you Jen Friel and Talk Nerdy To Me Lover! I am so happy that the pieces I’ve been writing for my personal blog now have a family and a place to call home ;)

Today I am grateful for Christmas day!

Barry and I love Christmas day. Instead of getting each other presents we make cards for one another. He always writes me an adorable poem, this year’s was from the POV of our cats! LOL!

Today is also a BIG HUGE day of RELAXING!!!! So far we’ve watched three movies today and are about to watch our forth. FANTASTIC!

Yesterday and today I’ve been grateful for my mom’s amazing “advent calendar!”

Ever since I was little I’ve gotten an advent calendar every Christmas and this year’s calendar was awesome! The best part is that the calendar is actually a box full of fun little gifts that my mom placed in bags she made by hand. She is so amazing!!!!!

I am grateful for my grandmother. She is an incredible woman. Even though she is now living with Alzheimer’s, the core of who she is is still very much the same. She is strong and vibrant and I love her with all of my heart.

The last five days I have been thankful for family.

Last night I arrived at my parent’s house for a quick visit and my 2 half sisters and one of my half brothers were there!

I am so grateful looking at this blog and realizing that I haven’t posted in 4 days, but that it’s because I’ve been super artistically fulfilled and busy and have felt incredible gratitude the whole time.

I love singing. Sometimes I forget how much. My friend Brian and I have been working on a project that we are releasing on December 15th. It is something we decided to do purely for artistic enjoyment.

I’ll talk more about it in future posts…. Yup, extremely grateful.
